Over 20 civil society organizations have pledged to work together under the CISCOT umbrella to push for comprehensive transport sector reforms.

In a historic meeting held in Kampala, more than 20 civil society organizations from across Uganda committed to jointly advocate for policy reforms in the transport sector. The organizations, which include research institutions, advocacy groups, and community-based organizations, will work under the coordination of CISCOT.

The coalition's action plan for the next two years includes research on transport financing, community outreach programs, and policy dialogue engagements with the Ministry of Works and Transport.
