CISCOT Uganda has expressed concern over the increasing number of road traffic accidents in Kampala and is urging the Kampala Capital City Authority to take immediate action. The coalition recommends the installation of speed bumps at accident-prone zones, improved street lighting, and enhanced pedestrian crossings.
Speaking at a press conference, CISCOT's Coordinator Mr. Peter Okello emphasized the need for a multi-stakeholder approach to road safety involving law enforcement, urban planners, and civil society.
