Transport is a fundamental enabler of economic and social development. Yet, many Ugandans, particularly women, persons with disabilities, and rural communities, face significant barriers in accessing transport services. Inclusive transport means designing and operating transport systems that are accessible, affordable, and safe for all users regardless of gender, age, disability, or socioeconomic status.

CISCOT is committed to promoting inclusive transport policies and practices. This includes advocating for gender-responsive transport planning, universal design standards for transport infrastructure, and affordable fare structures for low-income commuters.
